Our Mission

  • We seek to hold gatherings for people to come together to worship the Mother Goddess as the Night, in accordance with Déa Noctist traditions and beliefs. We hope to cultivate a spiritual space that encourages people to nurture a loving relationship with the Night, who is the giver of all life and creation and who embraces us all at our end.

  • We aim to provide workshops and projects to help people learn a variety of arts, such as poetry, craft making, and performance. These arts are an expression of the Goddess-given gift of Awen and are fundamental aspects of our ritual tradition and worship practices.

  • Our Guild’s mission is to uplift the voices of women as religious leaders. While the Night belongs to all Her children, The Guild of Sacred Night is rooted in female leadership, that the voices of Her daughters that have long been silenced may now be heard.

  • Our fundraising efforts help to facilitate our gatherings and workshops, ensuring that we are able to serve the community consistently in ritual and mutual aid. Our long term goal with fundraising is to collect the funds necessary to purchase land for a temple and gathering grounds for the community.

  • We seek to provide a safe space in which people may develop a loving and appreciative relationship with Night and Darkness. We recognize that the fear of these has been long and deeply ingrained in most people, and that unlearning that fear and healing that connection to Night is a process that takes time, patience, and compassion. Through loving and supportive community humanity may regain its awe and adoration of the Night, and shed our ingrained fear of the unknown.
